 Subject: How to make o2 sim

I have done a search on how to make an o2 sim for my
5.2 dakota and came up short. I recall one or two
people on here talking about buying a few parts and
making your own. If anyone has a link, or the know
how, to make/build your own, it would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks for the help. I plan on gutting my
cat (luckily i have one, not three like the 4.7's) and
hopefully that'll gimme some very cheap power.

Wouldn't be easier to just buy one?
....you need to emulate a crosscount of a voltage a specified amount of milliseconds, and more important, the window of voltages above and below the cross. That window is the tough part of the hours of research, and then the crosscount timing is next. Then you must emulate the heater circuit also. Easy to build, hard to setup...

I was searching for those intructions also. They seem to have disappeared. Could someone who sells these for outrageous profit be responable?

I don't mind purchasing an o2 simm but they are apparently fairly expensive, ie. $80 and up. If you know where to get an inexpensive simm i would like to know. Thanks again.

I tried the home-made set up and it didnt work. Lasted 2 days though. I ended up buying the Simms.

I think mine didnt last because of cheap parts.
They did last two days , with none at alll they light came on almost immediatly.
