Hi All,

I just wanted to provide an update on my installation of KYB Monomax shocks. I got them at a good price (about $230.00 4shocks plus shipping)from www.truckperformance.com. The install was pretty easy. The rear top bolts only needed 15mm socket the other side had an arm on the nut holding it against the frame. Pretty good engineering! Everything else was straight forward. The tough part was trying to compress the KYBs to install the bolts. Felt like, I was benching 225lbs and bent over rows 200lbs at the same time. Next time(if?) I'll use some sort of jack to compress the shocks.

The ride so far feels pretty much the same (my old shocks were only 2 yrs old). Ride over bumps were about the same. I did notice the turns were flatter. Also, I notice that I can not bounce the Dak up & down as easily as before. Hopefully these KYBs will last a long time.
