I desperately need to hear from anyone who has had the B/G Chrysler PCM flash done on a newer R/T. I would like to hear some reviews before I sink $650 bucks. The guy guarentees at least a full second off of the 0 to 60 time on a 100% stock R/T and considerable performance gains. Thanks for any input that anyone has on this. I have plans to add a 50mm TB and MSD6a to go with my K&N and flowmaster, but I wanna do it all in the best sequence.

I've got it on my 2001 CC. I got the M1 flash which is optimized for the M1 intake. It raises the shift points to 5400, and does the fuel curves, top speed limiter, torque management, etc. In my opinion, it made the most difference out of all the mods I have done. It totally changes the character of the truck and makes for a much more fun to drive truck. The only downfall I see, besides the $$$, is the dealership can flash over it and you are out $600.

I dunno about the full second off the 1/4 mile, but yes it's worth it to have because it really wakes up the truck at the bottom end by removing the death flash/torque management, plus the higher rpm shifts up top (plus the additional timing power).

I got the flash on my 01 and couldn't imagine having the truck without it. Worth every penny!

With all the basic modifications (M1, TB, Headers, etc.) and perfect traction you will get real close to knocking 1 second off your 0-60 with the flash. The shift points alone will net you 2-3/10 off your 1/4 mile time.

I have the MP PCM for my 99 R/T. Do they flash that or they flash the stock PCM ? I also would like to run a Vortech SC next year with big heads and cam. Can they custom flash for that too ?

I tried Jet stage 2 and the MP PCM and they both made me slower going by my track times. According to all you with the B&G flash , sounds like it really works.

You flash your stock pcm.

They can alter the program to meet any needs you will have, but if your going with a supercharger I would just get a ignition that allows you to retard timing if need be.

So just keep the MP PCM with the Vortech ? I`d still like to get the torque managment flashed out of there if possible. Yes , I plan on getting some sort of timing retarder ( Crane Hi6-TR or MSD 6BTM ) I dont plan on going over 8lbs boost. Think I should put some forged slugs in there ? Its not gonna see ALOT of track time but will be run a little bit to get a nice timeslip.

Your 99 R/T shouldn't have any torque management at all, and your Mopar PCM is fine. There are lots of guys running with that setup. You may need to step up to a larger injector and that should cure any pinging issues you will have. Not sure on the other question, but if you keep the boost down to a mild limited your stock internals will be fine.

I wonder how much my Torque Management is robbing me of HP. I seem to have the same mods as my R/T buddies and I run w/ them if not better sometimes and they have older R/T's w/ no Torque Management.

Torque Mngt doesn't hurt your hp unless your tires are spinning. There is another 01 R/T that goes to the track with me all the time and he runs right with me and still has the stock pcm.

Torq. Mgt. only comes in to play when the speed sensor in your rear end doesn't match up to the one in the tranny, other then that you shouldn't notice it.
