I'd go for the centerforce - I know speedtweaks carries them, but if you'd rather not do business with them due to the recent shytestorm, I'm sure bernd is probably even a good enough sport to put you in touch with someone else that deals for centerforce.

If you have a Hanson front bumper on your truck..........................................................you might be a redneck!

Seriously, WHAT were you thinking? On a Dakota?

When my clkutch died last year I had found a place making one that would hold 350 HP but cannot seem to find the email right now. Anyone have any suggestions where to look? I am planning on doing mine again in the spring.

Jeff - I'm thinking I'm not paying 350 clams for a piece of shyte plastic thats going to break off like the last one when something barely gets hold of it. If you don't like the fact that someone wants something that isn't going to fall apart on a TRUCK (dakota or not jackarse, its still a bloody truck) that they use for work, then sod off!

I'm new to manual transmission maintenance, about how much does that clutch cost? (the first 5k miles were pretty hard on mine)

Ok I getting the Centerforce dual friction. Its $180 just for a stock replacement disk.

Complete clutch jobs at a garage can cost as much as $1200! I am doing my own.

Let me know how it goes. last time I had the dealer install it since I had no time to do it myself and the timing was definitely not planned. Cost me jsut over $700 all said and done... SO this time I am going to plan it and do it myself.
