Extra Performance is the best model - I think.

Well move to some place that has an Autozone. Oh, that isn't a option. Did lyou go to links/parts and check with some of those guys. some are mom and pop operations and very willing to please. I haven't checked Summit or Jegs yet but they should have something.
Where do you live anyway?

I checked jegs and summit, and didnt find a Robert Shaw. Man, if someone wants to buy it at their local shop, I'll buy it off them! :)
I live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Just do a seach for it on maps.yahoo.com, and you'll see, im kinda out there. im just at a loss of what to do. I guess i could call summit and see if they'll special order it for me or something.

We have used 1 Mr. Gasket and that was on our Firebird. It has worked O.K. but I don't know who actually makes it. Mr. Gasket probably buys it from someone else.

I have Robert Shaw model 9600 installed in June by my gas company. At first when I temperarily wanted to reduce the heat by one degree, it did so and returned to the programmed setting at the next change, according to the instructions in the booklet. Now I find it goes into the program setting in a few hours without going into the new cycle. Is this thermostat defective? Shall I call my gas company?

Just get a stant SuperStant. It works just fine and can be had at just about any parts store. I've had it in my SXT for over a month and a 1000 mile round trip tow. Held perfectly.

you know why people dig up old posts? Its because the search doesnt sort by last post date. So doing a search a post from 01 could be the first result that pops up.

This place realy needs to update to a better forum software like vbulliten.
