Is the cat still in it? I have headers and cat back on my '99 5.2 and haven't experienced what you have. My cat is stock.

I'm wondering about the TPS also. I know that you didn't do anything with it to change headers. Maybe it was coincidink?

Mine does it also, I'm not that concerned because my previous ride (96 Sebring) did the same thing. Mine does it when completing that final stop, it seems to be when the torque converter lets go.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor. It is on the throttle body connected to the throttle shaft. That probably isn't the problem. I was just thinking out loud...with my fingers.

What is the difference between the exhaust manifold set-up on a 91 Dakota 3.9L and a 93 with the same engine? Curious because Mopar sells headers for up to a 91 3.9L, and they're a helluva lot cheaper than JBA's for the 93. Can I use the Mopar headers on my 93, Any imput will help. Thanx, B-Ron

318, you may have a dirty throttle body, the computer gets messed up if the minimum air going by the butterflys is being partialy blocked by carbon build up. You may also need to reset the computer as well though.
