CW, I got my truck back today: had new/ rebuilt tranny installed. The truck shifted into O/D funny, and acted weird when the torque converter locked up. I got home and it was 1 quart low on fluid. I added the fluid and it still makes a growl sound every once in awhile. It also whines: it didn't do this before it went to the shop. Are these symptoms normal or is something wrong already? Also, if normal will the sounds go away?

Really shouldn't make any sounds different than before. If the fuild got some air in it they will whine.

The other noise I was telling you about only happens around 48-50 mph. Do you have any idea what this is? It is like a growl and a shutter at the same time. I am pretty sure it does it with the cruise on and off, but not positive.

Could be in your diff. Get the dealer to take it for a drive and see what if they think it is serious.
