I am purchasing a 00 r/t and it says it has 3.92 gears?? is this standard, i know they offer 3.55 im kinda new to this stuff, as i do know minor mods but not this, so im not sure which is better, and if replacing which would make the most gains?

Yes that is standard for a 5.9 R/T. You will see a lot more performance on your take off and over all driving. It takes up a little more gass, but its worth it. If you have a V8 it will love it.
