Just looking at how all the daks are progressing these days. Im looking at getting my r/t back together so i can get some real runs out of it. I get my m1 officially tomorrow or wednesday so no more blown belly pans... Well what are you all pulling out of your rigs?
My second run ever(and last until i get it back together lol):
60' 2.438 (still had water on tires i guess)
1/8 9.967 mph 73.68
1/4 15.287 mph 94.35
Kinda depressing for my mods but it was 100+ degrees out and I ran it with a badly blown headgasket and a blown belly pan so im not too worried. Once i get it put back together i will report back with hopefully better times.

2000 4.7 5-spd

traction bars and a flowmaster muffler in place of the stock.

14.86 @ 91mph 1/4
2.04 60ft
9.45 @ 73mph 1/8

Now that the weather is cooling down, I'm going to try for 14.5's with some 275 BFG drag-radials and removing the clutch fan.

The first time I ran the truck I was getting 15.3's and 15.2's. I've gotten used to the truck, and it is getting faster as it gets broken in.
The truck has 15,000 miles on it now.

Slow2Dak,
How the hell did you get your truck runnin' 15.4's in the 1/4? I got a 2002 w/ a 4.7L, Regular Cab, 3.55's, auto, Volant Intake, cat-back exhaust, and a 180t-stat, and I'm only runnin' 16.4's

Jesse...I have the same truck as you except a
CC, and I only ran 16.04 and 16.08....it was a
really slick track, no traction at all, that might
be your problem. pick up a set of slicks and
see how much your et's change. Also
elevation, temperature, humidity, all factor into
the equation. no one track is alike.

I have a 01 Quad Cab 3.55 Auto, Z-Tube, 3923's, Jet Stage 2, JBA Headers, 70MM TB.

My best run was 16.20 at 83mph in the 1/4. That was on the factory tires. With some good tires I think it will run noticably better. With the stockers I have to leave the line no higher than 1500 RPM's or it will spin the tires all the way through first gear. I have the HO Intake and camshafts to go in so I'm hoping that I can break into the 15's without having to put nitrous on it.

It won't ever be fast but I can give hell to my back tires.
