Please post any info on the "line pressure sensor" mod here. I really can't seem to find too much info on it, other than:

disconnecting it causes the comp to read other sensors to determine the shifts.

It causes the trans to shift harder

1) Now doing this, does it have any effects on the overdrive?
2) Does it raise this shift points?
3) Where is it located? Pics would really help out
4) And last, who all has done this?

i have removed my line pressure sensor on my 02 4.7 RC sport. it shifts a lil harder than it used to. with the sensor unplugged the pcm and the tcm use values from the tps and the map sensor to create the voltage and resistance for the line pressure sensor. there is no change in the shift points, and it has no affect on the o/d.

tps .701
unplugged line pressure sensor
K & N drop in

when i unhooked my sensor for the 1st time, it scratched in between 1 and 2 for the very first time. it may not happen for anyone else but thats what happened with mine.

I couldn't find the SOB, is it up on the top of the trans? I have a 4x4, with out the skid plates, but does the transfer case change anything? Dumb question I know.
