I have my truck in the shop and the service manager told me that they are replacing the transmission. Is this a complete unit (only add fluid) or will they use parts from my old unit? Does the new (or factory rebuilt??) tranny come with new valve body, sensors, etc. or will the old be used? They said the pump was welded to the torque converter. Thanks in advance.

I know I'm not Bernd, or CW, but usually the dealerships, will send it back to Chrysler so they can inspect it to see what went wrong, so they can keep it from happening again, and you'll get a new one in the meantime.

But... I could be wrong
