 Subject: Corvette exhaust on a 2001 4.7 lt

I have access to a 2001 corvette stock exhaust ( muffler and tips ). Don't know if it'll sound good or if I would get any performance gains out of it. Has anyone tried it, or heard of someone else trying it. Just wanted a little input before I did any work.
2001 QC white, 4.7 lt

If I remember correctly the 2001 Vettes have a single muffler with two exit pipes. You would have to mount it were the spare is located. Plenty of room there if you relocate the spare. Although an aftermarket muffler would sound better than a stock Vette exhaust. You would also have to pipe back from the cat to the end of the truck where the muffler would be located. The muffler on the vettes would sit parallel with your axle. Not parallel to the crank like most exhausts. Hope that helps.

That would be pretty cool though... Is your dak a 4wd? IF so you could get one of the bed tire carriers... if you are into the prerunner look...
