Well I decided to go ahead and buy a dakota. Its a 1996 Dakota Sport with the 2.5L. Only has 74k miles on it too. Come on all you 4 banger guys, I know you are out there with me. Dont be ashamed! lol I was just gonna ask where I could find some good information on performance increases of this engine. Could I find stuff in Dodge's Direct Connection catalog? Im up to anything, cam swap, head change(did they make a better flowing head), throttle body change, headers, chips. Let me know what you guys have done to make these trucks a little faster.

OK...heres a question for all you GenII guys. Right in front of my bench seat, on each side of the transmission hump, there are two little carpet cutouts. Like a square cutout with what appears to be a mounting hole. Is this some sort of mounting place for bucket seats or what?

I think that those holes are used with the bench seat also? If I'm thinking of the same holes you are...
