a buddy of mine told me that our rear axels are made by ford. i'd heard a rumor of this before, and i wanted to know if it was true. i'd hate to have to go out and buy a new axel.

No they are built in house by chrysler. That is why they call them a corporate axle. :)

yea dont listen to your friend anymore....our dak's are 96% made in the good ole USA and all parts that arent mopar are chrysler......NO RICE!!!!!

hate to tell you greendak98 but there are parts on our trucks made in china, japan, taiwan (sp?).... and there are the regular "hecho en mexico" parts and canadian stuff but other than that its 100% american!

Whoa! What are you guys smokin' (j/k)?? Sanden, Denso, Bosch, Seimens, etc... Not one is an American company. Doesn't matter that it says "Made in USA" on the label, either. Assembled in the USA from foreign parts is what they should have to say!
