i found out that my magnum performance thorttle body does not like boost. there are some ridges cut into it under the blades to help lowend torque(which it does quite nicely) but it does not work with boost.

its a 50mm TB, with the "mystery shaft" (verry thin blades, and shaft) and it teflon coated. if you want more info on magnum performance TB's go to www.fastdodge.com

this was a VERRY expencive TB. around $900!! yes i know! ask bernd.

anyway, im asking $300 or best offer, wich is cheaper than the F&B's

Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown.

instead of e-mailing each of you seprate, ill just post the info here.

the throttle body is the "super karrbime 250" with the stage 3 upgrade.

it is a pice of art, and definatly helps lowend torque.

it will fit on the V6 manifold, but you will need the V8 linkage, wich should be around $20

the one with the best offer gets it.

keep in mind that the 50mm F&B TB cost $400 at speed tweaks, and dosent come with these features, so no matter what you pay for it you are getting a killer deal on a $900 throttle body

kota i have that same throttle body but for a V6. Same MONSTER torque step but only 48mm. Did yours have the cut outs under the shaft. I purchased mine used from bernd and he said the same thing... good torque/hates boost.

sam, do you think i should stay with a 50mm, or go to a 52mm since i have the supercharger? i personally think the 52 will rob me of lowend torque, but scream on the top.

as far as throttle bodys go, im leaning towards the fastman, because of price.

do you have any used F&B's?

I can get you a remanufactured 50mm for $310.00

Just need about 1 week to get it completed... I am working on them now.

All new hardware, blades, shaft, linkage, bearings... it's a new TB, the billet is the only thing reused.

Let me know (the 50mm on a SC would work fine...)

Ask Brian-- he went from a Fastman to a 50mm F&B recently (NA of course)
