well i ordered a set of four new wheels for my trucky. bought them from the local discount tire for a good price ($40 apiece). i got the AR 767 (black D hole steel wheels) and the local warehouse (DFW) had two in stock and the other two had to be ordered from the San Antonio warehouse. well that was three days ago and i went to get them this morning and sure enough...
"well we only got two of them"
ah!
"it appears that when we put in the order and that the warehouse didnt put in the order on their part"
ahh!!
"but here is the bad news, we can order them today but UPS doesnt ship on saturdays and since monday is a holiday we wont be able to get them till tuesday or wednesday"
ahhh!!!

"oh, they dont ship steel wheels by air anymore. its gonna take two weeks to get them, you still want them?"

soooo i took the two that they already had thinking that in two weeks they will come up "missing" and have a funky looking truck...

i know... all BS... but i did ask if i can go get them myself and thats when they told me that they had to be ordered directly from the manufacture... thats why they are taking two weeks to get now.

was thinking of ordering them through my
local sears, but wasnt sure if they had the 6 x
4.5 or how heavy they were. I want to use
them with a set of slicks, so I only need 2! LOL

well i can get you a good deal on two of them! heh
they arent really heavy but noticable more than the aluminum stockers. if you are wanting to use them for slicks you should get a set of the stock 15X8s because you will want a lighter wheel to go with the lighter slicks. just a suggestion...
oh wait... i tried selling my two 15X8 aluminum wheels with mickey thompson e.t. slicks... oh well :-(

BTW, when did you get the MO for the injectors, and when did you ship them out? im trying to figure when they should show up.

$150 plus shipping... one wheel is in great shape the other is scratched to hell and back.. the tires have plenty of life on them.

just went to go get my other two wheels afer waiting almost three weeks.... guess what.... NATIONAL BACKORDER!!!!!!!
and better yet the american racing rep said that he would be lieing if he gave an exact date on when they could get some, so...... i am taking back the other two and getting my money back... there goes my wheels :-(
