My TPS has been sticking on me and the check engine light is on. When I first done the mod it
worked for a few days then the TPS stuck at a high
voltage. well I just loosened it a little then re-
set my pcu a it was good again. Well afer doing that probably 30 times in the past 3 months. now
I can't get the check engine light to go off and
it still is acting up (like bad air/fuel mixture,
and rough idling)or somthing it's not stuck anymore it's loose enough to barley move it now..
So any suggestions....Please any input will help
I like the mod..so I don't want to buy a new one
and go back to the .5V setting..THANKS

What is the voltage at idle now? That will sae a light if it is too high. Otherwise it looks like you need a new one.

DB,

sorry, off uyour topic here.

Why the new clutch on a '01?

I've got the same engine, many of the same mods, (no jet 2), and 5 spd, and was curious.

Thanks

Didn't know there was a difference. The only thing I can think of is that the 2001 comes with a HD version of the 3500 trans and they wanted a bigger clutch to hold it.

Well about the clutch, CW actually the centerforce
clutch is not as big around as the stocker!!BUT
the centerforce dual friction has been my best
mod yet. WOW feel the difference on the butt dyno
also in a 1/2mile run my friends and I race on,
with the centerforce I gained 5mph that's alot
to me...SO CW what should the voltage be at IDLE?
thanks

Preferably about .75v. Didn't have any problems with mine at that. Should't throw a light until about .9v.

About the clutch... I heated mine pretty good the other day fooling around and tried a 3000rpm 2nd gear launch. It slipped pretty good at first. You could smell it afterwards.
