Any body have 1/4 mi. numbers for the quad cab 4.7 would like to compair mine seem a little slow but it is the first time I ran a real 1/4 mi.
Gibson headers, Gibson Cat-back, Edelbrock IAS shocks, K & N drop in, 180 stat, Jet stage II chip, ARE Lid

Welp, my best was a 17.0@82mph, but I also heard that Fontana is a slow track, I talked to a few people that have raced there and they tell me that they ran like 4/10's slower than at Carlsbad. We had a head wind as well. Maybe we should get together at Carlsbad and run at sea level to get some true #'s. I ran a 16.5@84 at Carlsbad when I bought my truck, but that was without several things I added since then, like my shell, front and rear hitch recievers, heavier tires, etc, so the weight drags it down a bit I know. Btw, do you wanna go again next month?? I'm trying to get some more folks to go as well Carlsbad makes you wear helmets is the only draw back I see.......

Ed...man I think we all gave it our best at
Fontana, but without slicks, that track sucks.
hell, my 60 ft times were 2.8's (ouch) I will
definately have my LS and 3.92 gears in next
time, and hopefully slicks. I couldnt touch the
15's, I ran a 17.3 and 16.03 and 16.08, I think
the last 2 runs were pretty much as fast as it
would run in the 90+ temps with horrible
traction
how far is Carlsbad?
BTW, I had the lowered black dakota ; )

Oh yeah, I remember now, as far as Carlsbad goes, it's pretty much at sea level, on the coast, and I've run my fastest times with my other truck as well, my old '97 V6 Dak CC auto ran the same time I ran at Fontana with the QC, so I want to get a meet together next month sometime to go to Carlsbad and get some true #'s!!
