Very simple:

-disconnect battery
-disconnect and label all wires / vacuum hoses / heater lines you see in the way
- drop tool on foot or scrape hand... scream and continue
- remove accesory belt
- remove 2 bolts from P. steering pump and loosten 3rd.
- remove cover on drivers side.
- zip tie chain to sprocket and break bolt loose without removing it
- put chain wedge tool in place... it is a pain until you get it but it does fit.
- remove sprocket and using pliars on new cam rotate cam to zero load setting
- remove bearing caps
- install new cam
-intake, unbolt old and put in new.
-passenger side, same as drivers only remove oil filler tube instead of power sttering pump.
- bolt it all back up, re-fill coolant and shred some tires.. or you can go to the www.speedtweaks.net paget and download the instructions there...

Also if you get the wedge tool from Marty at KRC performance ($25 shipped) you can call him (I did, it helped a ton, Thanks Marty).

Good news guys, you can purchase either the cams
or just the intake. If you wish you can buy them both.

Here are the prices !

For both cams - $117.76
For the Intake - $128.80

These prices include shipping !

One more thing, you don't have to wait for the order minimum
to get the good price he'll ship as soon as you place the order.

I was curious... does anyone know if this will work on the newer Dodge 4.7L motor in the ram 1500? Its rated lower in HP/TQ than the HO motor, and I was curious if it would be worth swapping over... anyone know?

Thanks,
KaZ

Yes, thats the same motor. Just swapping the cams will give you most of the torque advantage of the HO. You'll find dimensions to make the wedge tool and lots of other useful tips if you search the older "HO cams" posts. Glad I made the swap.

Lurkin,

I was trying to say, as if you say the letters separately, H, O, 'd. but you already know that.

Sometimes I feel like I've been hoe'd though! :-)
