I think I remember that post. I think the cost was so high that the guy backed out. With the amount of dwell time that the stock coils get I doubt that you would see any difference in performance. If you already have good combustion then a hotter spark will not do much. You normaly see a big increase if with a coil swap if you are runing realy high RPM's,High boost levels, or high static compression. Remember that with the eight coils you have 8 times as much time for saturation. If you do not alredy have HP cams or reflash you might consider buying them first because I think you will get more bang for your buck!!!

Yea, and I can see why. $414 for a claimed 15 HP?? In a few months we can get twice that for half the price with some (hopefully) cams fom Hughes. They're not getting my money for this one.

with the amount of stuff you have done to your engine (aka you can pump in and burn more air and fuel) stuff like that hotter spark will give you a more complete burn with the slower burning high octane fuels. using low grade fuel i doubt it would make any difference at all
