I have been looking for just the computer for sometime online and I cannot find it. Is it only available with the Kenne Bell S/C?? I have a 4.7 Liter with Fastman TB, Intense Performance "Z" tube gibson cat back. Future mods are 3" exhuast with new y-pipe and long headers S/C, flowmaster exhaust.

If I can get an optimizer II now is it reprogramable when the other mods go on?? Do they have one for the 4.7L?? What kind of HP gain will it give with the other exisiting mods?

they send you a waiver form for the speed
limiter. you tell them what mods you have,
and what mods you plan on doing. you
overnight them your pcm, they reprogram it,
and send it back.

I am sure it is reprogrammable after other
mods, but I think it is only worth
reprogramming after getting the
supercharger, because of the timing issue.

If you get the kenne bell supercharger, they
include the optimizer II, so they can fine tune
the computer to be more "compatable" with
the supercharger.

So are you saying I should just wait to get it when I get the S/C in a year or so since it's included? Is it not worth the money now sinc it will need to be reprogrammed?

if you have the money, go for it, but it might be
better spent on some head porting...only $400
from KRCperformance.com. I think duner
gained 20+HP with a "mild" porting and
polishing. that should hold you until the
supercharger. and with the supercharger and
ported heads, you're lookin at some nice HP
gains.
