 Subject: Throttle Body Parts.

My next big mod will be a 50mm F&B.
I know you are supposed to take the IAC motor, TPS, and the Map sensor off of the stock TB and put them on the F&B.
My question is what do these parts cost. I may replace them at the same time and keep the originals as a spare. My TPS may be going bad because it surges a little when accelerating. I've been told it's $35. How much are each of these and are they available at a parts srore or dealer only.

i had to purchase a new tps. I bought mine at the dealer (not available at local part stores yet) and it cost me $65. Now Autozone carries them.... for $65.

Wholy smokes autozone got you there. When I priced a TPS for my last truck it was like $25 Cnd. That is with my dicount but still in Cnd$. Did you try the dealer?

Just checked Autozone...guess I should have done this earlier, oh well
TPS - $26
IAC Solenoid - $30
MAP sensor - $80 WOW!
What exactly does the map sensor do and how do you know if its bad. Probably won't change it unless I have to. For $26 I may have to get a new TPS though.
