I know that the Gen III has the in tank filter/pump. Who has replaced them with after market parts and what is your setup?
I'm looking at doing a good bit of work in the future, so if I can do the fuel system now, it'll save me pains later if the engine is starved for fuel.

Was the filter in with it, or did you go with an external filter for easier access?

Doesn't seem all that hard, just wanted to know what people were doing.....thanks

Fuel pump, filter, and regulator are in the tank. Run a little over $225 for the assembly. Have you done a pressure check at the fuel rail, to save yourself the time and money, the fuse and relay?

If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.
