I did not hit mine yet. I was just a hair under 110 and I had to slow down. I saw some traffic about 3 miles ahead and wanted to give myself plenty of room to slow down without heating the breaks up!!!!

Heres a tip for you. Go to Walmart or SportsAuthority and get yourself an Etrex GPS.
Why? A gps is capable of recording your highest top speed without you having to look at the speedo. Simply place the GPS on your dash board and go make your top speed run. The longer you can hold the run, the more accurate the reading.
On my motorcycle, the speedo is driven off the front sprocket. At speeds over 160, the speedometer is waaaayy off! (by 20% or so).
