Hey gang,
I finally received my FIPK from KRC today. I have a 01 Dak R/T which is supposed to use PN 57-1517. Well KRC sent me PN 57-1509(98-99 R/T). I thought it would be ok but the 57-1509 kit does not include the bracket/and other associated hardware to relocate the cruise module. Has anyone ever used the 98-99 kit on a 01? I am thinking I should just send it back and get the correct kit.

I had the 57-1509 on my '01 R/T for a while. It is pretty easy to move the cruise control. What I did was basically move it from the fender to behind the headlight. I removed the two screws that hold it to the fender and loosened the bolt on the bottom. Next, I swiveled it around towards the front and marked the two holes and drilled.
For the cruise cable and vacuum line, I just routed them through the heatshield where the intake tube passes through.
It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish and turned out pretty good.
