Just an FYI, but I am sure you probably already know. I ordered an intake for GodFathers Customs, and they sent me a used one, that was returned a year ago from some other poor customer. Along with the used intake, came a Powerais space(paper weight), whinch I did not billed for. THe box even had the prior customers note in it statoing it was used..

I live like 5 minutes from Godfather Customs and they are about as useful as a bag of wet hair. All they are concerned about is full-size Chubbies and Ferds and then all the Jap-Rice-Mini's with silly paint jobs and pavement scraping frames. If you want to get performance out of your hydraulics, then go with GodFathers. If you want to get performance out of your engine, then run far far away!!

great customer service, very fast....dont slam a
company cause of one incident, email them,
and have them compensate for your loss.
You need to act as responsible as you think
they should. taking your "beef" to a public
forum is no way to deal with the problem.
sorry, I had to vent, so many companies are
having their name scarred. everyone makes
mistakes.

I would be happy to get free stuff when i order something, even if it is only good for a paperweight. As far as the intake there is nothing wrong with used parts as long as it's not scratched and dented or doesn't work. Any time you buy an alternator, starter, engine, tranny, etc. it is just a used part that has been fixed and spraypainted.

If it looks like it has taken a beating though they should do what they can to exchange it.

Trust me "D", I am not all about slamming companies,BUT, if I am pruchasing something for full price, and the company I ordered from doesn't even bother to open a returned item, thats wrong. And to tell you the truth, I am not so ticked off about one incindent, what really got me is there is an invoice with someones credit card, name etc on it(the last poor person that ordered from this company). Now you tell me, would you want to do business with a company that is that careless with your credit card #? And another thing, who the hell are you to tell me how to act, or where to state my "beef"? Look at your own post "public forum" And yeah everyone makes mistakes, tell you what, why dont you mail me your ccard # and lets see how you feel.

I bought a cowl induction hood from godfathers a couple years ago when I still had my 95 ram got the hood ok but like a year later they tried to bill my credit card for another $79.00 with no explination! I called visa and let them take care of it 2 months later it was erased from my bill...

I got my chrome lower front valance from them, cheaper than everone else I called ,and had no problems. It even showed up sooner than they told me!
It would suck to get a part someone else sent back though. You would think they would atleast repackage it , if it was still in new condition.

yeah wouldnt be so bad if one the precious customers note said THEY recieved it in used condition. What really got me is the carelessness witht his poor person's ccard #. Oh well, call 'em today, I told them I would not pay a restocking fee or for shipping. I went ahead to Intense, and purchased an intake from them. Got my fingers crossed, hopefully I can let you know how it is in a few daze...

The same company that you are talking about S-C-R-E-W-E-D me even worse and when I told them about my problem they actually asked me to try and make it work so that they would not have to pay to have the "wrong crap" sent back.

Thanks JD. I do not want to slam a company, and I also do not slam on a regular basis, but I also do not want fellow dak owners, or others to be in the same situation I was in.I was half tempted in calling this poor person from TX, to let them know how careless this comapny was with her ccard #. It is a good thing that I am honest, could you imangine the look of shock on this womans face if her card was maxed out? Apparently judging by other posts I am not alone with this company.

To me Godfathers has the worse customer service ever!!! I dont know if half the people there are racist, or just dont give a F*@# about working there. They never greet you when you walk in and you can walk around the store for an hour before anyone ever ask if you need help. I know they are busy but you still should recognize a customer when they walk through the door!! I always end up leaving and walking out. Little do they know I am a celeberty and have alot of public influence. But they would never know because they never even take the time to damn look at me let alone talk to me!!! I guess the owner makes so much money he could give a damn if a few customers walk out or not.... Get on your Sh*@ God Fathers!!
