I have a '97 Dakota 5.2L w/ auto transmission. Only mods are K&N air filter and catback dual exhaust.
I'd also love to be able to smoke a Lightning off the line. What is the best way for me to add power to my engine without decreasing it's life by too much?

Go to the thread, 'Raced a Lightning!!!'. Look at the mods that Kris has made. He's the one who smoked the lightning. Even though it's a 5.9 it should give you an idea of some mods you could make.
