Does anyone here have a 1st gen dakota that will run 12's??If so what mods do you have.
I am currently rebuilding a 87 and was thinking of building a 360 with 9.5-1 compression with 340X heads a M1 intake and a 750 Demon carb. I am not sure about Cam ? Its going to have a 904 tranny. Also What is my limit for compression on pump gas??
What do you think???

give crane a call. They used to have some realy hot grinds Fireball 300 and 400 series. If memory serves me right these grinds were for 66-70 Nascar engines. I had a friend that had a Charger 340 TA with a fireball cam in it in a charger and it ran 11's with the fan belt off. I have seen the slip's. This was his first car. He quite raceing it when he came back from Vietnam. It is now a car that is basicly just for show. It is all origanal.
