I just bought a 2000 QC with a 5.9L. It only had 1 new plug wire. Others did not look that great but not that bad. How much of a power loss can occur cuz of this? I put new Bosch +4's & a K&N Filter. I previously had 98 XC with a 5.2L. That was a ton faster. Both were 4X4's. 2000 is having trouble even breaking the tires loose around tight corners with the petal mashed. What should the comparison be between vehicles or possible problems be? Thanks for your imput!

Well you havent given enough information to guess at a clear diagnosis.
Heres my guess. Obviously your newer truck is heavier. Id venture to say at least 250lbs. Replacing one plug wire is not going to really reduce performance that much.
As for the plugs...I would be wary of any of those *hot rod* plugs. A set of Autolites or similiar will give you the same performance.
Did you use a drop in K&N? The stock 5.9 intake SUCKS the big one. You are better off making your own intake for $75 or less.
Assuming your truck is bone stock, the intake should be worth at least 10hp. You may want to get a PCM, that really wakes the truck up too.
