We still are selling our Dakota and Durango intakes through Ebay. We have had numerous satisfied customers.

Also, with the big cover article in Newsweek and a national advertising campaign for EBay, it is an excellent time to buy and sell parts through EBay. I see Dodge parts on EBay all the time.

The price seems rather high for a Home Depot project.

Price high?? You are mostly paying for looks and a brand name when you buy other intakes. Look at the new K&N FIPK for the 4.7L engine. Yes, it is finally out. It is a under hood heat sucker and the cost is extremely high. Our filter is located towards the front of the engine compartment and gets direct outside air flow if you remove the rubber flap next to the radiator. If you took the time to figure out the parts we use for out intake and the cost of the K&N filter(over $50), it is very low priced. you can go to www.truckperformance.com to see the other Dodge intakes and their high prices. If you have the $$, go for the K&N FIPK. But we offer functional cost effective intakes using a huge K&N cone filter.

The 9" K&N cone filter cost $39.99 at www.performancecenter.com . It only cost you around $15 to get 2 CPVC 90degree elbows, 12" CPVC pipe,4 hose clamps, bottle of high heat spray paint. So it only cost around $55. I see set-up like that on ebay, costing around $75. And some even uses crapy ABS and PVC. If you are lucky, your local store may carry some Stainless steel elbows and pipes.

Thanks but no thanks. I'd be ashamed to pop my hood in front of anyone with some homemade PVC THING hanging from my TB. I'll stick with the polished stainless.

Wally....where is a good place to get stainless from? So far the only things I have been able to find is galvanized...

I tried the PVC setup...when it got hot outside, like 98 degrees here, the PVC glue melted and part of the pipe broke. Reinstalled my stock air system for now.

Would love to have some stainless...if you got a source, please let me know.

Mark
