well guys, I would almost say don't waste your time with Crane cams, I just got off the phone with a tech support guy, and I guess with the Nascar season, there busy doing that, and also there doing something with new valve springs. He didn't even want to hear about the 4.7L. you can try and call 386-258-6174 but I wouldn't waste the long distance phone call, (here at work, it's free) He also threw the 9-11 excuse and saying that the 4.7L is still to new yet, They also said that in order to get anything as far as R&D they have to get a motor from Chrysler, and they weren't going to waste their time Not their words exactly, but it pretty much sums it up. and of course I mentioned how everyone is going for the HO cams, and there is a demand for these cams.

Oh well I tried

Yeah I think I must've been one of the first to phone around for cams cause I was doing it 2 months ago or so.

I talked to Hughes and what they told me was they had the design for the cams, they were just hesitant to release them because they are harder to install than a pushrod cam. Basically said they don't want to waste their time on tech support for the cams while not making much money on them because no one will buy them (he thought there was no market for them).

Crane said they didn't have any and didn't plan on making any ... ever

Same deal with Comp cams...

One place they recommended was Webber Cams... I can't find anything on them though (website, phone # .. nothing, I barely even know they exist). Anyone else want to try?

I think Hughes is our best hope ... and a long shot at that. But, lets keep the pressure on 'em!

The only cams they have for dodge are for the neon OHC engines. They also advertise custom grinds.

I have kow time to write or call so happy hunting.
