 Subject: JBA Y-Pipe for R/T and 5.2

I was just wondering if any of you know the difference between the JBA Y pipes for the R/T and the 5.2. Is the only difference the R/T cat is dual in single out while the 5.2 is single in/out.
The reason i'm asking is because i have the 5.2 but i obtained a JBA R/T y pipe. I have read the boards stating that the y pipe increases flow from the inefficient one on my 99 slt.
Would this pipe fit if i simply bought a dual in single out highflow cat?
