went to the track last night and i could not hook up. with my 2002 cc 4.7 auto, all the speedtweak budge mods, lakewood universal traction bars with the gap adjusted properly, 3.55 peg leg, 255/65/16 goodyears aired down to 25 psi. my 60' times were 2.3-2.4 all night i nursed the gas out of the hole, but just spun them. i think a set of et streets are in order. any suggestions

Hey Man,
I had the same problem. I have the 3:92's with the limited slip. I put on some Firehawk SS-20's 275-60-15's, and some Lakewoods. My 60ft'ers dropped from 2.3's to consistent 2.0's, and one 1.98. Those are the same times my buddy hits in his 99 Cobra with BFG drag radials, but he waxes my hiney in the 1/4 though...My 14.8's to his 13.20's....
So what times did you get? Do you have your bars moved as far to the front of the truck as possible? They work awesome on my truck... Sometimes they do spin, but if they do, there is no hopping.
