Subject: looking for FG hood and fenders.

Any body know a place that makes stock looking Fiberglass hood and fenders for the Gen3 I don't really want a cowl or scoops. I would prefer a hood that could bolt on to the orignal springs etc.

Thanks for the info.

Middy.

Do a search, my search engine of choice
queryserver.com

You can also search through the custom style
section and probably find something in there. If
you find someone that makes or will make the body
panels put a post out, I'd be very interested in
replacing some of the parts on my

One thing that I suggest is to weigh you're stock fenders and hood before you get fiberglass parts for it. You will probably be suprised that won't be much of a difference in weight. These late model cars and truck have sheetmetal with the integerity of a soda can and it shows up in their weight. The fiberglass fenders will probably weigh more than you're stock ones because they have a lot more material in them than you're stock fenders. The hood will probably weigh about the same if you get a bolt on type , if you use a paper thin pin-on type you could probably save about 15-20# compared to the stock hood.

I was looking for something that wouldn't dent. I have little dents here and there just from acorns and the like falling on my truck. The sheet metal is just to thin. You are probably right though, my truck is very light, but if I could remove some weight up front then I'd be happy.
