i was wanting too install a better breathing air setup....along with a 50 flomaster muffler,drop in replacement.
but i was just reading that you will loose low end power????in a 5.9 ?????
any more thought would be nice..please

You won't lose bottom end power by adding a K&N intake.

Anything is better than the stock setup. Remove the air horn at the front of the box, remove the rubber flap next to the radiator(if you have one some don't), then throw in a drop in K&N. Thats probably the cheapest you can do. Also you could ramove the air hat(sits on top of the throttle body) and run some 3" ABS plastic from the TB to the air box. Its your intake though so use your imagination. Long as you have a filter involved you can do pretty much what ever you can try to get away with.
