I head because the self-learning ecm on the truck, the jet chip only works for a few hundred miles? what the hell??
How much for a MOPAR PCM? any deals? do they make them for 4X4?
How much to flash a program from the dealer? Program number??

you can find a used pcm in the $200's, or a new one for like $330, but im not sure if they have one for a 4x4 or not.
the dealer cant flash the pcm for the better, but they can sure take the power OUT of it.
if you cant find a pcm, you can take it to mike leach (he is the one who made the mopar pcm) in anaheim CA to flash it. the flash is pretty much does the same as the mopar pcm, but he can also add more timing, fuel, ect if you need. the price is $400, so if you can get a mopar unit, i'd go for that.
the mopar pcm is FAR SUPERIOR to the jet chip, hypertech pos, ase chip, and the kenny bell chip (from what i hear) the only thing that is better is the $630 BG flash, and the only differance is how much timing is put into it. you can tell leach to add more timing and save $230. thats what im thining of doing. i just cant decide if i am going to supercharge it or not.

i agree with Eric, no "piggy back" chip can compare to a flash or a whole new pcm.
