Alright all you smart tech people,
I have a 92 2wd 3.9L V6. I get this weird hissing noise that sounds like it is coming from the throttle body area. I only get it after I let off the pedal. I will accelerate, and then let off, and then I get a short ~2 second hiss that sounds like air escaping. I dont think its a crack in the hoses because they are all looking good. Also, its not my intake setup (holley 14" round performance) because I took that off and it got louder. soooo, I was thinking either: 1. crack in the throttle body or intake manifold, or 2. the throttle body valves dont sit tight when they return from being opened (acceleration). Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

sounds like throttle body is coked up, u might want to clean it first, simple task and worth the trouble
