Hi I have a 99 R/T with borla headers, jba/k&n y pipes, exhuast, k&n intake, 52 mm throttle body, and 180 thermo, underdrive pulleys, msd ignition, with taylor wires and autolite spark plugs. I was wondering what the next best mod would be?? M1? Also would it be a bad thing to get the Viper Torque convertor with only the mods I have right now?

i would get the 2bbl M-1, and i dont have a auto, but i cant see paying $900 for a torque converter, when you can get a mopar one for like $250.

the viper might be a little better, but i dont think its that much better

How did the torque converter change your performance? I know what they are and do, but what kind of performance change did you notice?

Doesn't it cost a fortune to install them?

I haven't track tested it but from flooring it at lights and stuff it definatley increases performance. I mainly got it to prep for the heads and cam and all the low end torque I'm gonna lose.

Like when you accelerate & say you shift at 5500 well stock, the tack goes back down to 1200-1400 well the stall puts it right around 2100 so it has the HP to get through the gears really fast.

With that new PCM you got w/ the extra power I would definately say its well worth it. It was only $200 to install thats cuz I got some references from a local mechanic who set me up w/ a tranny guy that wasn't just out to pick my pocket. Found this convertor at one dealership in Dallas and cost me $215 bout the same if I got it from KRC which is $189+shipping.

BTW: I'll be gettin my valvebody replaced like you did pretty soon.
