I have the MSD 8.5mm wires on my 95 318. They fit great on the plugs but are loose on the distributor cap. I have tried to modify them with pliers but they seem to work loose. Can anyone tell if the taylor spiro pro wires from KRC ara snugger fit than mine.

Thx
BJ

My MSD Superconductors (8.5MM) "snap" securely on the distributor cap. I have to really push down on them to force the snap.

I did change my cap from the OEM to a NAPA when I did the wire change out. (Now I'm using a Borg Warner - exactly the same as a NAPA).

Make sure you're pushing the wires hard in place. Then try changing your cap (only about $7 at NAPA).

My 2 cents

I have the Taylor wires, and they fit everywhere very nicely. They make a good, positive snap on the distributor cap and the plugs. Hope this helps.

I bought the 8mm red wires about 2 months ago Im not happy with them at all, the boot that connects to the plug is flemzy, not like the OEM wires. I washed my engine off the other day and it wouldn't start. I had wires I bought from a Dodge dealer and never had this problem before. I kept the wires I had bought from Dodge Im going to put them back on.

I have the 8mm Taylor's and they are great the MSD wires are overpriced and I have heard more than a few people dislike them. Get the taylors and I beleive the autolite 3923's work well with superchargers.

I have the Taylor Full Metal Jacket wires and they fit very nicely and snap tightly to both cap and plugs..The only dissapointment is the length will not allow for factory wire routing...
