Can anyone tell me what transmission I have? Is it a 500 or 518? It does have a lock-up torque converter if that matters. I looked on the trans. case, and I can't find an identity badge. The truck is a 2000 QC 4x4 with a 5.9L and 3.92LS. It has all the factory heavy-duty options (trans. cooler, electric fan, etc.). Thanks.

By the way, I was told that I have one of these models by someone else. I thought these trucks had a 46RE, or something like that.

Yes, the 46RE is behind the 360 motor. It is more or less the same thing as a 518 but the 46RE has more electronics (I think).
