I dont know about 65G's... I had heard more like around 40k. Remember they dont want to price it too much more than the lightening or that will be the death of it right then and there.

I talked to one of my friends that works for a chevy dealer that has a dodge dealership now and apparrently there will 2 special rams coming out. One of which is the SRT-10 which will be priced at $118,000 and another performance ram (I don't know what the name will be) and that is the one that will be closer to 30 or 40 grand. Has anyone else heard that?

The SRT-10 is not going to be any $118,000. How could you justify putting a $20-25K engine drive/train combo in a maybe $20K truck(that's a whole truck, with a smaller motor) slappying 24s on it(I hope they get rid of them) and charge $100+ for it. That truck is gonna be in the $50K range. give or take $5K. The Math don't add up. For that you could buy a viper and have hennessey tweak it like mad. Not bashing but $118 is unreal.

K&N, '01 wheels, Window Tint, Harley-Davidson badging, red underbody kit, ext.
Window covers, Harley-Davidson mudflaps, custom cat-back exhaust,
head/taillight covers, ventshades side and rear, ram air on the way. Autolite 3923s, 180 T-Stat

The SRT/10 is not going to be anywhere near $118K. What kind of moron would pay that for a truck when he could easily have the viper for less than that. It's entire goal is to compete with the Ford SVT Lightning in both performance and price. It's slightly better in performance, but we'll see on price. Hell, for $118K you could buy 3 SRT/10 trucks (almost) with the figureds that Dodge passed along.

for 118,000 and sell your current dakota and damn near get the hennessy (spelling?) twin turbo viper priced at around 140,000. I think 118g is WAY too much. The info you got is a very ruff guess I would assume. Considering the truck wont be as good as the viper priced under 70,000....i doubt the Ram SRT/10 will be over that. My best guess is 45000 area.

Why would I pay 118 thousand dollars for the SRT10 ram when I could have an 03' Viper RT-10 for 80 thousand dollars??

Give me a break as far as that 118 thousand dollar bussiness goes... lol

Nice try, but dodge's website still says SRT-10 and I'll believe it when Dodge says it. A lot of that "insider" stuff has turned out to be false. Don't believe everything you read. It may turn into the Dodge Ram 505 SRT-10, or the 505 looks more impressive than the 8.3L so it's just like the 5.9L R/T badging. Do you call a R/T a 5.9L? No, it's a Dakota R/T. And another point why name it the Ram 505 when a V6 Ram is a Ram 1500? Makes the SRT-10 seem weak.

I was referring to the fact that you acted like it was a fact set in stone. Didn't mean to offend you. It could end up being badged like an SS/T with The SRT-10 on the tailgate or something.
