It depends on what your TPS is already set at
from the factory, speedtweaks.net gives a
range that they have seen from the factory, its
like .5v to .8v I believe bernd said the best is
.8v. It should increase throttle response,
probably improving your bottom end.

I plan to do it as soon as I can get hold of my
brothers tools.

I did it and IMHO it made a difference. When you first step on the gas and when you have it wide open the truck acts like it's getting just a little more gas. So if your TPS reads below 7 you should do it.
