Whats the best way to remove the badges ( stickers ) off the side doors and tailgate ? And then whats good to get rid of the excess glue ? Goo-Gone ?

I know somebody here has done it.

Thanks.

get a hair dryer and one of those plastic bondo spatulas and it will come off really easy. The best thing to use to remove the excess glue is WD40. Yes WD40, it is silcone based so it wont harm the paint. good luck!

The hair dryer deal works good,I used paint thinner(the kind for enamel, has kind of an oily feel to it),on a rag, rubbed it on and let it set for a minute, then rubbed the adheasive off with my finger/thumb,the stuff just balls up and brushes off,,took about 10-15 minutes per decal.

The 3M 'eraser' wheel. Goes on a drill, and buffs the letters right off,,no mess,, nothing left behind, won't damage the finish. Quick and easy.

I just used a hair dryer, then peeled up a corner with my nail. Decals came off much easier then I thought they would.
I used an adhesive remover by 3M, it cam in an aerosol can. Sprayed it on, let it set-up for a minute, then wiped it off with a towel. Worked great!!!! No scratches or paint damage!

For the glue I used this stuff called "Oops" it comes in a tin can and U can squirt it on & pretty much just as soon as you do that and wipe it it'll come right off.

I just peeled mine off too using my fingernails. But I've heard dental floss works too by using it to cut under the badge. I use mineral spirits to remove the glue. Then wash and rewax.
