I slip alot when running on the street or drag racing at the track with slicks. For those of you that race, what do you guys do about the traction problem? Becides the slick I also have Lakewood Traction Bars. What kind of recommendations do you have to stop this evil problem?
Thanks

Well are you stick or auto?? How high do you rev the motor before you launch it? What king of suspension do you have?

It is a 1999 Dakota R/T so it is auto. I launch at about 1800 rpm. My suspension is Lowered 2/2 with Lakewood Traction Bars that is it. Are any of you running drag shocks? Or what else can I do to stop this?

Weight in the bed, but that might hurt your acceleration and top end.

Underinfalte your tyres a bit..try playing with air pressure yet?
