 Subject: HELP!!! I need a rearend for my DAK

I got a locked up rearend I need the whole thing
Any rearend would be ok, I have a 3.92 anti slip
differential. I also have 4wheel anti lock brakes.
But I'll take any 9.25 rearend.
Please help Dodge wants $3500 for everything and
labor. but they can forget that!

No it did not hurt the housing, and yes my warranty is up. I have 42,000 on her now. The dodge dealership said it would be $10.00 dollars
cheaper to have a whole new rearend put in it
instead of them rebuilding it. So I'm looking
for one I don't care if it's a 3:55 or what it is
as long as it's a 9.25 mopar rearend.

You should be able to get it rebuilt for WAY less than that. Call Randy's Ring and Pinion in Everett Washington, they may be the busiest rear end shop in the country, and ship rebuit parts everywhere.

And I'll echo Todd in saying call Randy's Ring & Pinion. They know their stuff. I just ordered new front & rear gears for my Y2K 4X4 from them...going from 3.55 to 3.90.

Hey Justin, where are you located? I may be of some assistance. I am getting 4.10's put in tomorrow and I might be able to keep the 3.55's. I am in Dallas. Send me an email and we can talk. Hope I can help. Also whoever else reads this if you have 4.10's on a QC, what do you think of them. I have the 4.7. I am just trying to figure out how low my mileage will go and what I might gain. Thanks for the input.

A little off-topic...
I have been to Randy's website, and I wondered if anyone would post the price they are getting the 3.90 or 4.10 for...
I have been debating having it done at the dealership, and I want to know the cost of aftermarket and possibly DIY.
