Okay, this question has been asked before but I have looked through about 20 pages and I am unable to get a definitive answer on this ... so I am asking for people to respond who have done this mod.

I checked mine and got a reading of .591VDC, no problem off came the brass inserts (credit to SpeedTweaks for the instructions). I put it back on and adjusted to .705VDC, no problems. I was surfing around last night and have noticed some other people have had good luck with running a higher TPS voltage (KRC recommends close to .9VDC).

So here is the question, which seems to offer the most precise throttle response? and please no flames!

No...

.9v is the max limit at idle. TPS Range is from .3v-.9v (factory, idle range). Keep it at .85v max otherwise you may experience idle problems (and a possible Check Engine Light). We've tried it at .9v and there's just too much variance in the TPS...doesn't always come back down to .9v. If you want to run it higher, try .8v - .85v.

In regards to the precise setting...there is none. Each vehicle is different and reacts differently.

I could not get my meter to read so low..damn its a fluke meter it only reads 0 volt...it changes automatically from ac/dc so i know there is current (switches to dc) I did get 5v off of pin #1 do i need a different meter?

So if I understand correctly you are saying that every Dak's optimal TPS voltage is different, and to find it try between .700VDC and .850VDC?

Evey vehicle is different. The TPS (factory/unmodified) sensors will read anywhere from .4v-.7v. This is why there's a small range for optimum setting. .7-.75v is about the norm with .8v being on the more rare side (vehicles with factroy TPS sensor already at .7v or close to it).
