Subject: Fram "easy drain"?
IP: Logged

Message:
Hi all,

I remember some discussion at some point in the past about the new Fram easy drain or whatever its called.

Some nice person(s) on the list was able to figure out which one of the several models they make fit the 4.7 even though Fram doesnt directly show an application.

Would that person repost the info please? It would be a godsend those those of us with the factory skid plates on our trucks

thanks in advance
Steve Anders

I'm not sure about the Fram but I got mine (for both the 3.9 Dak and the 4.7 Durango; they have different threads) from:

http://www.fumotovalve.com

They have an application chart ond online ordering.

I think he's refering to the Fram Sure Drain system.

I believe he's refering to the Fram Sure Drain system. I saw them at Walmart for $12. I'm going to install it for my next oil change. Two reasons I'm going with the Sure Drain over the Fumoto is that the Sure Drain has a lower profile and it costs less.
