I have a 2001 R/T with these mods:
M-1 intake (4 brll)
F&B 50mm tb
Mopar cold air kit
Gibson headers
spintech single in, dual out cat back
MSD wires
Accel cap,roter and coil
Mopar 2400 stall converter
Level ten shift kit
My question is, would this set up work better with the stock intake or the M-1. I feel that even with the 2400 stall converter I would have better acceleration with the stock one. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

You have a similar setup to me. Your intake is fine-- your cam is the problem. You need more lift (either with a cam, or 1.7 roller rockers). I run a 4bll M1, F&B 52mm, Mopar headers, GEN II, LeVeL 10, and Crower 1.7 roller rockers. The M1 dropped 28 ft. lbs, but gained me 16 hp (plus both the torque and HP were a steady climb, peaking at 5200 rpm and holding-- whereas with the stock intake, it peaked at 4600 and then dropped like a rock).

A set of roller rockers should put you in the 248-256 range like me (your headers and precats might not flow as much as the mopar units-- that's really the only differences from my truck).

I sell the Crower 1.7s, standard kit for applications below 5500 rpm, and the 'Rev kit' with guide plates & longer push rods for rpms above 5500 rpm (bursts-- if you plan on sitting at 6000 rpm for extended times, you should up your springs.)

Email me if you have more questions.

You might be better off with the 2bbl M1 vice the 4bbl.
