 Subject: 13's in 1/4 on 33's ???

OK guys, my boss just handed in his keys, and I'm pretty sure I got his job so now I gonna have some more moolah to play with.
I'm wondering what its gonna take to run 13's in the 1/4 on 33in tire while still being able to go mudding/trailing. I'm thinking M1, 1.6RR, JBA headers, 4.10 gears, new springs/retainers, and Bernd's twin turbo setup (when they finally get done.. hehe). I've got 115K on my truck so, I'm thinking forged pistons/rods, and rebuilding the motor. The tranny was just rebuilt and had TransGo shift kit put in. I think they F*CKd it up buy I'm goin to see Bernd this afternoon to see if we can get that fixed.
Anyway, what do you guys think. Anything else that I should/need to do or not do to get there???

Hah, that would be awesome. Why not just get a jet engine and put it on the back? With all the cost of the mods you are gonna put into it, it might not be a bad idea:) Not to mention the bragging rights.

hehe, i've looked for one before but cant find one that will pass emissions when I move to cali and rockstar/model/actor.. hehe

I had the same idea... 13's with 33's!! Hmmm... I'm thinking just a turbo set-up will do the trick. I already have 3.92's which SHOULD be enough... and since I run low 15's now I might be close to 13's with a turbo...
Mud Runner, if you did all that work to your engine AND added a twin T set-up... I bet you'd be good to go!!! Maybe we should invest in some 33 inch slicks... LOL ;- )

no you can't stroke a 318 to a 408, but you can stroke it to a 390 with .30 over piston and 4" crank. Now that's a sweet set-up plus its different than the 408's!

Get a 408 stroker short block forget the 318 or go for the 360 crate motor 380 hp version,cash does not matter right?
