Hey folks, wanted to know about TB, i have a 3.9L and was wodnering if it is possible to put a 5.9 TB in my truck, is it ok? will it hurt my truck? will it make a noticeable difference? anyone else did this?

Yes it will work well but you have to get the V-8 throttle cable as well.

5.2/5.9L use the same throttle body (factory = 48mm).

For the 5.2L, 50mm is perfect. For the 5.9L...it depends on what you are running and what you plan on running (Supercharger, Nitrous, Turbo, etc.).

is the v8 throttle body cable, hard to install? where can i get one? if i put the V8 TB, will it improve my truck or make things worse?

Yes the throttle bodys are the same for v-8s. 48mm at the torque step.
